Getting Old

So yesterday I aged another year.  I woke up and my sister made us french toast.  She and the boys also decorated the house with balloons and signs. I ate as much as I could then stopped and laid on the carpet, to let it settle.  Then a few minutes later she says "Oh sorry I didn't realize that bread was old and tasted bad", yeap, I thought to myself and then said "mine was soggy" so I had some cooked french toast later.  Then I got A. ready for school and dropped him off, C. cries and screams when he leaves he doesn't want his love hate buddy to leave.  So then we went home and C. wouldn't get out so I left him to change then came back and we sat in the vechile waiting for Toni to come so we could get out. We went to maurices I had some gift cards I needed to use up, not sure if I like the necklace I may return it for something different. Then we went to Artic Circle, since the have an indoor playland and C. loves it.  We played for almost an hour then left to go get candles for the ice cream cake Toni and Spencer got at dairy queen.

Then I got ready for work and came home around 720pm.  I shower after work and was doing so, when I could hear screaming, I figured toni is an adult I will finish, then she comes in and says we have a situation on our hands, ok what you need to get out, I said I need to finish.  So I do and had seen C.'s head he was running with his brother and hit the wall head on.  Luckily it just grazed the skin or I would have had to go back to work to the er.  Picture will be shown when toni emails me. But it swelled big and now today just a scratch no bruse. We then played go fish which A. sits by who ever has a turn and spys on their cards then moves to sit by the next person, needless to say we got schooled by a five year old at go fish.  So we had to play again to redeem ourselves.  Eli came home around 920 so we waited to light the candles.  A. left crying to his room the cake was not chocolate, and c. was mad when we stopped letting him blow out the candles. Pickey people, really what can I say.  So Toni and I had ice cream cake, then A. came out and ate some since it did have chocolate and then c. joined in.  To cap off the night we watched What happens in Vegas my favorite movie.  I love it.

Gratitude

So this has been a long time coming.  I decided that I need to share things that I love and am grateful for. I thought I would start off today by saying that I am grateful for the aroma that fills the air when cookies are made, probably because I have made cookies today.  However, it is not just the smell it is the food to make those cookies and the heat since it is bitter cold out, the pickup said 12 degrees F, with out the lovely breeze that is blowing.  More important the smeller I have to smell the cookies and my tougue to eat the cookies.
