Almost burned down the house

E. & C. had colds and I did not want to wrestle C. & A. in church today so I let A. stay home. So the first two hours went ok then C. got wiggly. However I could not leave because I hitched a ride with my in-laws to church. So then we left and when we got back home and walked in from the basement and asked E. what he was cooking because it was burning. So we looked in the oven nothing, microwave nothing, the wood stove was not burning something plasticie. Then I began to walk around and in the front room chandelier A. had thrown a rag on the light bulb and it started to burn. The light bulb was black and so was the rag and smoke was all over. I then turned off the light and E's dad threw the rag outside. I then asked do you have smoke detectors? Yes, then I replied well it should have gone off with this much smoke, then E's mom said the batteries must be dead. So luckily we got home when we did or we could have had more problems.

Onions

While at my moms she wanted the grandkids to sit on onion bags for their business card, but my brothers kids did not make it because the oldest had an eye infection. So we took pictures of my kids and at a later time she will take their pictures. My mom got a few more that were better. Now that I have learned photoshop I just need to buy the program to fix their faces when they are not smiling or cut out heads. My mom did not like the white backdrop so she moved the forklift and after that C. only wanted to drive it that ended the photo shoot. Now she knows why I do not have good pictures because my subjects do not like to cooperate.

C. 14 months

C. loves this hat next to him on the ground while at my mom's he would wear this thing when ever he saw it. It reminds me of a hat that you see German's wearing (original attire). Anyway he also loves to wear these boots he brings them to me and wants me to put them on his feet then he walks around so proud that he has shoes. At least that is how I interrupt his smiling face.

Neighbors Pumpkins In Oregon

Every year my parents nieghbor carves alot of pumpkins and they also do the pumpkin etching. Well this year we went up to Oregon and were able to see the pumpkins. We were in Oregon for about 3 weeks after Halloween. While there we feed chickens, built a garage ok E. did that, and he went coyete hunting, and we enjoyed seeing family.

Halloween 2009 Utah

For Halloween I made A. a Tigger outfit that he had to have. I am not a sew but took one of his shirts and pants and traced an outline on some fleece we had and then sewed it together. However, I sewed the arms going up and the hood on backwards I changed the hood but not the arms. C. was sick so I did not know if I was going to finish. We did finish and I dressed up as a Pirate, C was a duck and E. was himself.

Earlier in the day C.and E. went to Park City to trick or treat to the merchants down town with some friends. I was in class at the University of Utah, Digital Camer I. I have been taking classes to get my teaching certificate renewed.

At night we went to the Wanship ward party to trunk or treat. We had chili, hotdogs, root beer, hot cocoa, doughnuts and other food. Then the parade to recieve candy began I took A. since last year E. took him. After three cars he was done and did not care what he got but we were jammed in the small parking and would not be able to leave for another 30 minutes so I carried him around.

Holy Sheep

We were driving up around Soapstone, UT -it is near Woodland, UT, if you do not know where that is --West of Heber City Utah, still unclear try mapquest. Anyway the boys and I rode up with Eli so he could collect his animal cameras, they take pictures when animals walk in front of their laser and triggers the camera. So we were headed to there and saw 2 large groups of sheep. Both group had at least 3,000 sheep at least I tought I did not get pictures of the 2nd goup since I got yelled at before for taking pictures while driving.

The sheep made me think of Grandpa Schulthies funeral, my mom's dad-- he hearded sheep. Anyway I wanted to share these pictures.

More exciting photos to come, I just need to download then I might show A & C's b-day and fall pictures, nothing to brag about beautiful setting, cranky kids, eating dirt and throwing it at each other. Oh, and they do not like to sit still and smile for the camera or look at the camera. That is why I have not posted them.

I do want to say I love reading everyones blogs. Thanks for sharing.

Finally - Started making onion bags

I am making these for a gift. The label if of my Grandma Frahm who is on some of the onions bags my family uses to package onions. The inside has 2 pockets with a magnetic closure. Eli's mom has been helping me - I had an idea of what I wanted then saw a pattern that was kinda close -so why reinvente the wheel. Here is the first bag. They are loud so enjoy.
Yeap out of order and upside down so turn your head not sure how to fix.

Cousins visit

This occurred in June 2009. Eli's sister came from Colorado to visit. We went with them to the temple open house in Salt Lake City, aquarium, and to temple square. While at temple square C. began to holler Jesus in a deep loud raspy voice, yes it was clear what he was saying even though he was only 9 months old.

Once day I had the boys and we went to see Kathy-Eli's mom at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory in the Park City Resort. The boys loved the spoonful of ice cream and chocolate dipped marshmallows and drooling over the candy apples.

Little men in a candy shop dreaming sweet sugar coated thoughts.

I love this picture I wonder what they are thinking. The picture explains what they could be but to have a glimpse into their thoughts.

Green River Lake, Wy Wind River Mt. Range -by Pinedale Wy June 2009

So the pictures are out of order, they are fine when i upload then they appear reversed. So we went camping the first week in June to the Wind River Mt. Range in Wyoming. It is 90 miles SE of Jackson, WY. We camped at half crescent moon lake not knowing that was where we were. We thought they would have better signs. Then we hiked around that lake and to the crescent moon lake, and then saw half way at the other end are cabins, yep we could have drove to it.

We saw tons of antelope, several moose, bears, fish, bald eagles, deer, elk, and I do not remember what else that is why I should post things sooner.

Then we headed to town and bought a map and went to the Green river lakes which is also where the beginning of the green river starts. So driving up I spotted a bear and we backed up and began to watch it get closer and it was a grizzly and then we noticed 2 a moose in the willows it was stalking then it ran off and then two other moose began to get nervous and we watched the bear swim the river twice and then the moose ran away. I was wanted to see them get attacked but at the same time I was thinking I am sleeping in a thin nylon material tent tonight. I did not sleep too well. Then we got up and hiked around the Green river lake and headed left and then up
Slide lake that is so steep enjoy the picture I will not go with any of you if you ask. Nope never so enjoy the picture and hike by yourself. We saw 5 moose and babies at the end of the lake and a bunch of elk, even spooked a baby elk so new it had spots. It was so steep and I got altitude sickness and felt like i was on the biggest looser. Barfing as I went up but I made it then more up hill oh ****. Eli carried both kids for a while. We got to the top and the lake was still mostly frozen. Then a lighting storm blew in and thunder it was so loud a. was freaking out and so was I not many trees to hide and it was raining, hailing, and snowing not fun. So we left fast except it was about 8 miles to get down. WE were so cold and wet by the time we got back I slept in the car with c. we packed up camp at 5 in the morning yep and our neighbors
were not sad to see us go since we have a loud pickup which was running to get us warm then we drove to Jackson wy, but it was raining and did not stop for almost a month so we went to my sister Toni's place in rexburg to shower, wash wet clothing then left the next day to head back to Utah and dry out our tent and gear. We got it dry and then it rained for almost a month.

The pictures are easy to figure out the last is the road to Pinedale. I love the clouds and very few people were on the road. could it be because it was so cold and we got snowed on it was 34 degrees when we left Saturday to head to rexburg.

Pig Tails

I was having A. do school work -to help with talking and anything helps and he likes to do it. I had pigtails and he said pretty hair mommy I want pigtails. Ok, well he has not much hair so I remembered some small rubberbands in the bathroom and went to work. He ended up with 2 then wanted three using the bangs as the 3rd, then they came out and he wanted 3 in a line, yes with a hat he looked like a red neck. Eli wanted to grow his hair out, and this is how A. likes to wear his hair. He is pretty cute with curly piggies. Oh, yes he wanted brother to have pigtails too.

Here goes I have not posted in a while and now while trying I do not get pictures just computer language. So I have been slacking but enjoying reading other peoples blogs. These pictures are of the boys back in winter, yes I know it is summer but I have time to get caught up before the next winter. HAHA maybe Just thought I would show C's hair and it is red getting lighter now and with white looking roots just like A's hair. And it is curly not in this picture but usually is. He must have missed a baby for a few days, that happens when it gets cold and I was taking him for walks outside to prevent water getting in his ears I would not get him too wet. work though til the next post savor this one:)

Boy oh Boy

Somebody was mad, I do not remember why but it could have been that the M &M jar was empty. Or was it just too much candy?

We grew up living close by to my Grandma Frahm and Aunt Mary who lived with Grandma. She helped her when she started not doing so well and before that. Now she has two nephews who love her and have a hard time sharing her. Espically Tevan. Look at the love in their eyes and hers.
