Happy Halloween

Trick or Treat

Saturday the boys went with Eli to go Trick or Treating. I was working.
A. dressed up as Spiderman and wore his hat.  C. was a pirate.

I was told they enjoyed trick or treating.

While at work I received a phone call from Eli, He said this is awful,
The first door we went to, they had no candy.  He thoght that going
to college kids doors they would love trick or treating, I said
I dont think they get people-- go to Henderson Subdivision that is where more
families in our church live, and I knew they would have candy.

Thankfully they did.

Cowboy boots with Siderman, and pj pants.

Oh, I love the little pirate dud wrap.  It didn't last long.

Toni Vs. Brian Push Up Competition

So here it goes, the cat is out of the bag.  Toni my sister bet a guy friend of hers that she could beat
him in a puch up competition.  So they held the big even Tuesday of this week at 5:30pm.  the 19th of October 2010.  The bet was who could do the most at one time.   She knew he was fast but would get tired she worked on endurance. I have the video if anyone wants to watch.

The day before she got a spray tan and rub on tattoos.  Yes I rubbed one on and my boys did two or a few.

Showing her tat skills, which are not very good.

The ankle.

Trying to look tough.

Dont stare too long the spray job is streaky.

I made the boys Team Toni shirts and they wore them and tats.

Going for a ride

Going for a ride can sometimes be more than you bargin for, espically at my parents.  They have two dogs Snoopy the the black lab and Curly is the Mixed of curlys in the front.  They go where ever you go if they can get away with it, otherwise they have already gone with someone else.  The kids wanted a ride and my moms other hairy grandkids wanted to go for a ride too.

Oregon October 2010 Harvest Break

Living in Eastern Idaho you get Harvest Break.  It depends on the district as to how long
or how many days off you get.  We got a week and a day.  So we first headed to utah to go with Eli to get his deer and spend some time with him.  Then we went to Oregon to see my parents.  I asked if they needed help, I took off work here, you don't get much $ after paying for day care.  So I drove tractor and disk ripped, and disked.  Both boys loved it. I didn't get a single pictures oops.  We rode in the 7810 John Deere disking and the Case Tractor.  A. called them the red and green tractor. He liked the red since it has a buddy seat.   The only accident we had was C. was in his car seat in the buddy seat strapped in and belted, and A. unbelted it because he wanted to sit there.  However, Aunt Mary had him and had brought him back and he got in the tractor by himself and then C. and the carseat fell forward and he was hanging there, luckily he didn't go the the left, or he would have fallen out of the tractor about 10ft, give or take.

The  boys love to play with this tee-pee so I think I will try to make one for Christmas or Santa better.
My Aunt Mick made this for my sister Toni, and it has seen many moons.  They boys. A. and Tevan his cousin, threw clothes on top.

And blankets, and Halloween costumes.

The boys.  A. took off his clothes to add to the collection.

C. practicing smiling.  aka WC, if you go to rodeos you get it if not it means "Wild Child"

Beaver Dick Park, Idaho October 2010

Toni my sister invited us me and the boys to an outting with her and her friends at
"Beaver Dick Park" which is west of Rexburg.  It is the real name even thought it is strange, if I remember slightly it was named after someone.  It if right along the Henry's Fork of the Snake River.  It has a small boat dock and playground.  The boys loved throwing rocks into the river and playing on the sand bar and playground and spotting minnows in the water.  The food was good, tin foil dinners via camp fire.  I forgot the sugar for the ice cream soccer ball maker.  So next time.  I made peach cobbler and they had that and smores.

Playing on the sand bar and becoming pig pens.

Making a get away, luckily no one touch the stinging nettle.

A. always clowing around for the camera.

C. had too much fun throwing sand and getting sandy.

Both boys throwing sand and rocks into the water.

A. showing me his muddy hands.

Separating Colors

In school A. has been learning about colors and creating groups.  So when he showed me
his m&m graph I grabbed some old bags of these that were in food stroage.  I bought the kissables because
I knew with the hard candy shell they would not melt.  They still tasted great.  So he got to
count and separate the colors

Moose on the Loose

These aren't so great but the kids were thrilled to see the moose.  We have some friend that live up in the mountains, in Utah, Toll Gate, any way we usually see moose when we go up and A. was
loving how big he was.  "You see that, he's sooooooooo big"

Horse Ride

Toni wanted us to go with her while she rode, she took of and we hiked a little then turned back.

I saw this tree at the bottom, both are needed to support each other the aspen has intergrown around the pine tree.  Hard to see but look close.

I love the color of these berries.

A. with Toni and Red.

C. with Toni on Red.  He scream when I took him off he was not done.

Horses

\When Eli was younger, a long time ago, not yesterday he got toy horses, which the boys love playing.
When we were in Utah one time they got them out again.  I left to do something and this is what I found when I came back.   The horses were in their pens with dish that kids use for tea parties filled with water and animal crackers.

This is one of the pieces to the game where you build towers and use marbles.

High Heels

 C. & A. like to wear high heels and walk around.  C. loves to wear high heels the higher the better and wear accessories.  My sister left her heels here and after a few days I called and said you better come and get them.  It was a fight over who would get to wear them first. Main reason they are a hugh weapon.

Deer Hunt 2010-Wolf Creek, Utah

So it went like this we the boys and I drove to Utah so see Eli, and he drove in from Casper, Wy.  We meet at his parents house and spent Thursday night.  We got up early Friday morning, we planned on
leaving the boys but they woke up and were crying so we took them.  We loaded up in the Chevy
and left.  We arrived and Eli was mad, we didn't get here early enough, ......, you get
the idea.  Then the first spot he gets out to "glass"  which means look through the spotting scope
or binos for animals, he spotted one pretty close.  So he gets ready and is furious, here is my red bag, I
don't know.  So he finds it and the caps are not here.

The hunt was for a muzzle loader, which is the type of hunt and gun.  He needed the caps which
make it fire to ignite the power so it can shoot the little balls.  Anyway, he got back in and thought we would be going back to town or home to get them.  However, and white 4 door dodge was driving towards us
and he asked if he had some caps, and they had the same gun and caps.

AMAZING, so they looked and luckily the deer, buick had gone into the bushes.  Horray the guy
leaves and so does Eli.  So he disappears into the bushes, I am in the car with the two terrors, I didn't want them out side running around, someone might think they were a deer.  So we ate, talked read books, the 3
I had in the car and then  I see Eli waving to drive closer so I do then he keeps waving.  So I go
not wanting to it was in the sagebrush and big rocks.

We finally made it and he said that he got the buick.  So we went hiking down to see the deer.

Then it was time to gut.  I had to help hold legs.  While cutting Eli kept getting grossed out, he does
not do blood.  So the organ finally slid out and down the hill.
Luckily when he shot the deer it was caught by some aspen.
So then we began the long process of pulling it up hill, it was steep, really steep
So it took about 1 1/2 hours of pulling it up hill.  We would move the boys and stuff, and then the deer and keep doing this.

The best part the deer and pickup were cleaned up by around noon.

C. kept touching the deer I think he thought it was our new pet deer. haha if he only knew it was grossing A. out he didn't want to touch it he thought it was still alive.
