I have been meaning to post about the funny things the kids say, but then I forget what they say, I need to make a note with a real pencil and piece of paper. A.'s school had harvest break for a week and a day and two weekends, loved it. So we went to Utah to see Eli. We left Thursday and Friday morning we went on Eli's muzzle loader hunt for a deer. We went up by Wolf Creek area above Woodland---- E. of Heber City. Anyway he saw a buick and then got ready to go and realized he forgot his caps which make the gun fire ok help in the process. The first car that drove by Eli flagged down and he had what he needed. He asked if he had spotted anything and Eli replied nope. Then they looked and saw some does the buick had gone behind the trees. Then he got ready and left to chase the deer. Luckily he did not move too far and he got him only 70 yds away. I will post pictures later. So then I drove closer and got the boys and we made the descent, yes down, salt and pepper country. It was steep and took about 1 1/2 hours to dragg up hill, I guess I need to exercise more or something. Anyway, we got him after saying 1,2,3 pull, over and over then A. began counting to 22. The boys threw rocks and dirt down hill which is where we were so we got pelted a few times. C. thought it was a dog and kept petting it.
Then we watched conference over the weekend. Then Monday Eli left to Casper, WY for the weekend and we went to Oregon. The boys and I drove tractor the Deere-green and the Case- red. They loved it. So now when we see a tractor C. screams for a ride. They feed chickens and played with Tevan. It was a good break.
