So the pictures are out of order, they are fine when i upload then they appear reversed. So we went camping the first week in June to the Wind River Mt. Range in Wyoming. It is 90 miles SE of Jackson, WY. We camped at half crescent moon lake not knowing that was where we were. We thought they would have better signs. Then we hiked around that lake and to the crescent moon lake, and then saw half way at the other end are cabins, yep we could have drove to it.
We saw tons of antelope, several moose, bears, fish, bald eagles, deer, elk, and I do not remember what else that is why I should post things sooner.
Then we headed to town and bought a map and went to the Green river lakes which is also where the beginning of the green river starts. So driving up I spotted a bear and we backed up and began to watch it get closer and it was a grizzly and then we noticed 2 a moose in the willows it was stalking then it ran off and then two other moose began to get nervous and we watched the bear swim the river twice and then the moose ran away. I was wanted to see them get attacked but at the same time I was thinking I am sleeping in a thin nylon material tent tonight. I did not sleep too well. Then we got up and hiked around the Green river lake and headed left and then up
Slide lake that is so steep enjoy the picture I will not go with any of you if you ask. Nope never so enjoy the picture and hike by yourself. We saw 5 moose and babies at the end of the lake and a bunch of elk, even spooked a baby elk so new it had spots. It was so steep and I got altitude sickness and felt like i was on the biggest looser. Barfing as I went up but I made it then more up hill oh ****. Eli carried both kids for a while. We got to the top and the lake was still mostly frozen. Then a lighting storm blew in and thunder it was so loud a. was freaking out and so was I not many trees to hide and it was raining, hailing, and snowing not fun. So we left fast except it was about 8 miles to get down. WE were so cold and wet by the time we got back I slept in the car with c. we packed up camp at 5 in the morning yep and our neighbors
were not sad to see us go since we have a loud pickup which was running to get us warm then we drove to Jackson wy, but it was raining and did not stop for almost a month so we went to my sister Toni's place in rexburg to shower, wash wet clothing then left the next day to head back to Utah and dry out our tent and gear. We got it dry and then it rained for almost a month.
The pictures are easy to figure out the last is the road to Pinedale. I love the clouds and very few people were on the road. could it be because it was so cold and we got snowed on it was 34 degrees when we left Saturday to head to rexburg.

Wow Andy - just reading that made me cold! That's awesome you saw all of that wild life, I would love that! The boys look so cute, I love that pic of A in the flowers. You are such a trooper - I would've died going on that hike, I'm very impressed that you stuck with it!
How is your summer going?
