So it seems that I am just slow to post anything. I have taken alot of photos which will be aired later. For Thanksgiving my Aunt Mick, Mom, Dad, and Ken came up. They stayed in a Hotel Wednesday night, Thursday night and left early Friday morning. The boys loved it, my parent's hotel they resided in had a huge pool that the boys loved. They swam for several hours Wednesday night and then over three hours Thursday night.
For Thanksgiving dinner we ate the usually food except for sweet potatoes, yams, giblet gravey, etc. For dessert we had 4 pies chocolate frozen one, chocolate pudding, lemon mereinge, and razzel berry. She were all good, we all had little slivers of each, better to have a little of each. Then after we ate, cleaned up and then looked at maps we left to check out the civil defense caves. We drove to see the caves and then got in, and it was crazy pitch black, we had flash lights, and you could see cracks in the ceiling above us and the floor was rippled and rough. We saw frozen ice balls that looked like snow globes. It was awesome and weird when you see all of the large boulders on the ground, you begin to think will the cold weather make the rock around you crack and fall. Then you forget what you are thinking about and begin on to see what is around the corner. Then my child C. decides that he wants the flashlight and you run into the rocks on the ground and trip. Kids.
I dropped out of school I realized that it was too much working, going to school, and trying to raise kids while Eli is in his 2nd internship. He finished that internship. So now he watches the boys, they dont like daycare, A. says mom I just can't do it today, meaning daycare. We have done some fun classes with fun experiments. I think I will start sharing what we do, with the ideas so you can also do some fun things with your family, or relatives.
Some fun classes are crayon art, wacky lemon science, world safari, etc. I love the Crayon Art. They peeled crayons, broke them and placed them in silicone molds and cooked them at 350 degrees for about 5 minutes, then cool and they pop out of the molds in shapes of a circle, gingerbreadmen and snowmen.
I just watched 60 minutes and the homeless and families living in cars and it made me grateful for the small place we have that is out of the elements and not in a car.
My job has opened my eyes to many things. I enjoy it and love watching kids grasp a concept and have fun while learning.
