Tired Little man

Well, I had to grab the camera when I found Ashton in my bed the the covers pulled up and his arms up relaxing while watching Pooh Bear.

He is trying to to look at me or give me a smile.

Later I lost the child and could not find him. He crawled in the dirty clothes basket and was hiding. He also would not answer me when I called his name.

Well the other day the door bell rang and I ran down the stairs, ok walked and saw nobody through the hole and still opened it and we had a package. I dont know why I love to get packages so much espically when I did not order anything. Probably because the double benefit it is free and I still get to open something that is a suprise.

So I looked and it was from SPI, and company Eli works with on ordering lumber.

So I opened it and it had about 5 pounds of crab legs, muscles, and smoked salmon. I passed on the muscles but everything else was delicious. Here are the boys eating the crab, Asthon loves crab and ate more than Eli or myself.

Cameron 4 months

Wow time keeps ticking by so fast.
Cameron is now 4 months old.
He still loves to suck on his fists and anything he can grab.

He has been sleeping through the night for several months, except when I mention that so he might not sleep well tonight or when his brother Ashton wakes him up.

Shots

Well, I got a call from the school nurse saying that Ashton was not up to date on his shots. So I grabbed his paper and looked and he was except for his Hep A. So I told him we it was time to go to school, again, we were home. So at 1230pm we headed back to the school. He got the shot. To the nurses surprise he did not jump, cry, scream or make any movement or a sound. She said she had never seen a kid like that and asked me "where did I get him?" Before that he ran out of the office and I was chasing after a kid running down slick hall ways since it is snowing and recess just ended so I was trying to catch him and not appear to be running since I was running by the do not run sign. Finally caught him and I was thinking oh this will be fun, and he was great. So I told him I would take him to get a burger. So we pulled up to Wendy's and he starts saying burger. So he got a kids meal and he ate 5 fries and a frosty and nothing else. Then it was time to go home, and it is a blizzard. I was opening the door and he moved so the car door hit his head and he landed on his stomach and hands. So now I have 2 screaming kids, one wet, one Poppy and I am getting wet. We are home now and no one is crying but I still have one poopy bum. Such is life. Guess I better get a move on before it migrates and I have a bigger mess.

Reindeer Food

Ashton did this in preschool. They sent him home with the food, in a brown paper bag, I did not know it was not to eat so it was gone by the time I read the packet that was with his papers in his cubbie. Oh well guess we will make more.

So here is the recipe so the reindeer will not run out of fuel when delivering all the gifts that Santa has in his sleigh.

I am typing as it appears on the paper, and have your kids measure and count as much help from them as you feel is needed.

Measure: 1/2 C. granola
Add: 5 chocolate chips
5 peanuts
Add: 5 M & M's
5 Raisins
Pour Contents into a paper bag, (close top OK this was not in the recipe but do it or you will have a mess) Shake. Taste!

How to feed the reindeer
1. pour the food into a bowl
2. leave the bowl near a door on December 24.
3. check the bowl in the morning!
4. Enjoy the leftovers!
