shopping will it be a nightmare or a completed task?

Well, I thought shopping would get better after having a baby, being able to be quicker, I forgot how slow I am for a couple of months. IT is not enjoyable. Luckily no one has taken Ashton, though I wished they would I think they saw the streek of blonde hair and knew they didnt want the challenge. When we go in a store, I try to remember to bring the monkey, a great invention a harness. Once that coolness wears off then we try the cart, he has always hated to ride in the basket, so i carry or he walks, but he likes to ride or help push then darts off. Tonight the cart had a buckle and not too many people were around so I buckled and pushed with a scream because we walk in and he was holding my hand then ran to the back of the store to find the chairs. He got a swat on the butt and got to sit in the cart. After a while he got out, because he was beginning to thrash around and wake up cameron, and then he fell asleep around 745pm, hopefully he stays asleep. Once we got home Ashton went to bed and cameron was awake and hungry.

Ashton had a hard time today daddy went hunting for his elk, and the mighty little hunter did not get to go. He packed his binos (which ashton calls "eyes"), his nerf gun -gun of choice for the day, and he elk bugle - an adaptor for a airpump to fit multiple types of air mattresses.

So when he was left he was crying, his favorite thing to do is watch hunting movies with his elephant, which he calls his "l", he also has his gun, eyes and wears certain hiking shoes, camo pants, and camo shirt and the hat. However, thankfully while in costco (luckily while in costco ashton was good and stayed by me or myh brother kenny who came down from oregon to go to the byu utah state footbal game and attend conference=while in costco we heard someone hollering hey cousins, several times i didnt bother to look because i usually dont see anyone i know, well it was ej raven, go figure i saw two other people from the ward, so there went the theory of wearing sweats and getting away with it, i was actually wearing jeans or a change) i grabbed some jerkey, his favorite food and we ate jerkey, drank gatorade, and watched the movie cars. What a date, even if it is with your 3 year old son.

Eli went hunting up above woodland utah and our neighbor dan fishler went with him, good luck boys the weather channel is predicting snow and rain.

Oops, I dumped out the dawn soap

Well today Ashton went outside with me and played with trucks while
I hosed the dirt off Eli's pickup. I only got to hosing it off and never washed or cleaned the inside-because I would periodically check on peanut-cameron and he woke up and wanted food. So we went inside and shut the garage door to later go and clean up the stuff we left out. Well later Ashton went out and found the Dawn dish soap that i left in the garage and yep he squirted it on the garage floor, on himself, and some got on the carpet inside.

So how much was ingested who knows. So right now he is getting a bath. The bottle did not say to call poision control. Yes I have done that before, he eat rat poision while we were visiting Elis sister when she lived at Bridgehollow in the fluckingers guest house. They wanted to know how much he ate, and said watch him to see if he has bleeding gums, or bruizes easily. If that happens go to the hospital for the remedy. Luckily that did not happen, what does happen is the rodents eat and bleed out. The things your kids teach you, espically the things you never want to learn by chatting with poision control.

Baby Arrived

Well, Just to let everyone know, before the new month begins, yes we had a baby boy. He arrived in the morning of August 15th, a Friday, and weighed in at 6 lbs 8 oz., 19 1/2 inches long, which really means he has chicken legs, very skinny boy to this date. He has a lot of hair compared to Ashtons fuzz, and it is blonde on the sides and slightly darker on the top. He has blue eyes, and he has ashtons nose and chin. As to whom he looks like, he is still too skinny and young for me to tell, but he does look like what I did (andrea speaking) in the eyes when I was a baby, yeap I had slanty looking eyes.

This time the birth was not so bad, another c-section. Yes, I will admit I was scared, I had not had one where I was awake and the first was not enjoyable. And, as people say the second time is a charm is true as far as the delivery. Fast and pain free weird to be awake, however recovery was a nightmare. I told them before I went to the postpartum ward, I was itchy and nauseated, and they didnt give me anything except for a pink tub, nice, not only do i look and feel awful because every bump aggravated the pain and the meds were slowly wearing off, but i had uncontrollable itchiness and it was driving me crazy and the nurses took over an hour to get me the meds and then I began dry heaving and oh the pain let me tell you the pain. Because when I throwup my whole body moves and yeap it felt like a freight train ripped into my belly, and I began to cry which never helps. The kicker they would not give me any pain meds for 45 minutes which was the most hellious 45 minutes I have had in a long time.

Then I finally got the pain meds, but my face and chest still itched for the next 2 days. Retarded effects of morphine, although I do love the pain relief they provide. My incision seemed more sore on the left side this time, and burned. I was told it was nerve endings. Then I began to think, why do I do this to have children. Well I began to think how many kids do I want, then I realized that I am being very selfish and should be grateful for the blessing of being able to raise children and that I have been entrusted two healthy children into my care.

So I left the hospital around 1pm, and then came home and my mom and sister were at my house to help. Then Eli left the next day and we went back to the hospital Thursday to see if the baby gained any weight. He dropped to 6.2 and then gained up to 6.45lbs. So we are slowly making progress. Then I went home with my mom and sister and ashton and the baby which his name is Cameron Bair Pace. We left Saturday and I stayed until the next Saturday and my aunt mary frahm and grandma frahm rode with me back to Salt Lake City. We left around 10am and arrived around 830pm.

So while at home Ashton played with his cousin Tevan, had his 3rd birthday, played in the sand box, rode four wheelers, and relaxed.

Eli went mining for gold and exploring the weekend I went back to my parents.

Cabelas Purchase

Well, Eli went scouting elk with a friend from high school, Chris Batt, who made him desire to own those animal spy cameras that you attach to a tree and it takes photos of objects when it detects movement, so he bought 2 so he could position them in various areas of the forrest. He took Ashton, and eli got a taste of what he is like when he doesnt want to walk, he had to carry him on his shoulders because he would not walk a step, go figure, last year he hiked with us up mt. timp. over 3/4 the way.

So he showed me the map he made, so he would remember where he positioned them. He can retrieve the memory cards too, I dont feel like hiking. When ashton came back and found me I asked what he saw, "rocks, elks, deer" and what else fishing, and trees" Eli told me a while later that they spotted a deer and ashton kept telling him "shhh" then it got about 10 feet away and ashton then made the sound effect of shooting it well that spooked it and it took off. The main thing was they had fun.

Memorable Moments

Well, working on toilet training you get many laughs. The other day I was outside with Ashton and he was playing on the grass having fun. He was playing with the hose and was watering his toys, grass, ants-just being a kid. Then he says I wet well he only had a pull up on, which meant his pullup was coming off, since he got it wet. Then he decided to pee. So since they tore down our trees that blocked people from the freeway from directly staring they can see what ever they want. So I know they saw because i saw them. The best part was when ashton was finished he took the hose which I only turned on cold water no hot, to hose himself down. Done was his response ok, then I found a diaper in the garage and he continued to play.

WEll pretty soon I will have photos, I know i keep saying that but I will soon. So til then it is just text.

Only 4 more -Frahm family reunion

Wow I was thinking when asked in church "when are you due" August 15th is the scheduled date for arrival of baby # 2 his name becasue we haven't decided we struggle with boys names. Two weeks ago my family all traveled to Rexburg, Idaho to get together for a family reunion, we meet at ririe lake outside of Idaho Falls. The events were boating, eating, and getting ticked at people, just kidding -you know how it is when family gets together, it was actually not bad we didnt go through the whole pecking order thing which we usually do. We played mini golf with Ashtons clubs, which really was hitting the balls with short clubs in the weeds, throwing footballs and Frisbees. It was only about 83 degrees which was nice. We set up camp and and then ate hamburgers and dogs. We put the loudest snoring people in a tent by themselves and positioned it far a way. As the night wound down the boys Ashton and Tevan loved going into tents to jump on the air mattresses and then found the smaller tent with grandpa trying to sleep and started to jump on him. He didnt like it at first, however once he took off their shoes he was better equipped to handle to little moneys. When we did try to go to bed Kenny and Eli kept bugging and wrestling with each other that was annoying. And kenny did sleep on our air mattress with Me, ashton, and eli. Toni was suppose to sleep on a twin and spencer left then came back at 10pm to sleep but they both left because they came in at 130am to find sleeping bags but couldnt find them and thought we were using them they were on top of us, so they went back to rexburg, we joked "somebody has to be uncle brent". Tonis roommate annalee stayed and slept in the sagebrush, which luckily for her she didnt get peed on or the other, my dad didn't know she was out in the bushes and who wants to go to far when you have to go in the middle of the night and then trevor had food issues and got the trots, which luckily for everyone he went away from us, he couldnt make it to the bathrooms fast enough so he got to borrow a shovel in the morning from the camp host, not sure what he told the man why he needed a shovel.

The next day we were in charge of breakfast which was good, sausage, bacon which ended up being overcooked, pancakes, hash browns, oj, hot chocolate and cider, and omelets, which we figured out since toni was not up to help, she wanted to make omelet in a Ziploc bag, you place what ever you desire in the bag and place in water that is hot and it cooks it not bad it worked out, and we had fruit, grapes and stuff. Finally at 1030 the crew was ready to go boating, i stayed back only so much room and i rode the day before and it is not as much fun when you can only float. SO I stayed back and so did my dad and we slept for a little bit or tried and then packed up so we would not be late getting out of the campground and so Toni would be on time. She was taking out her endowments from the Rexburg Temple. So around 2 or so i am not sure we left some stayed to keep playing in the water, but most of us went back to rexburg. We dropped off my mom and toni and then would meet up later for the 600 pm session. So to kill time since everyone fell asleep my dad and I went to the thrift store, then looked at fancy homes we looked at one for sale on the hill it is over 10,000 sq. feet too large but pretty and some other homes. Then we went back and got ready and headed to the temple. Ken and Spencer watched the boys, and then we went out to eat at the Hard Hat a steak house in Rexburg. The food was ok, they took forever to get it out to us so we were starving.

That night we slept at tonis scattered around her place on airmattress on beds then we went to spencers church at 8am, way early but 5 of us made it then we left toni and my mom at church and i went home to pack and get ready then my dad and spencer went to see the teton dam where it broke.

Spencer told me to pick up toni and mom but his pickup had a low tire so and i wasnt sure where keys were to the other cars or where they were parked so i had tonis roommate drive me up to where we left them, didnt find them so we drove looking for them then headed back, and found them walking home, they were surprised to see us they told spencer who was tired from throwing up that night, lack of sleep from water skiing all week, and he must of not been paying attention, that they were going to walk home. Annalee made us french toast with the best syrup ever, really good. Then the 2nd church session people went to church and came back and we ate roast and potatoes and carrots and watermelon, rolls, and corn. While group 2 was at church I packing everything up and put it in tonis spare bedroom so we could walk around. After we ate, we loaded and reloaded things, which we did pretty good I haven't heard of anything being found in the wrong car. Then we left for our separate ways.

So besides the reunion Eli has been working on an apartment building for 3 weeks in Rock Springs, (spending the week and weekends here) this week he is in SLC, however today he is in Ogden to unload 7 lumber trucks for a large apartment, then he goes to Richfield Utah to work on a holiday inn sometime, and he is picking up the plans for that and kansas city today. This weekend is his 10 year class reunion for high school. They are just eating at a restaurant, mine which i failed to attend was a 3 day event, I thought it was long and we were moving to Utah from Washington the next weekend which turned out to be 3 days later.

Lastest Pace Happenings

Well, I was shocked to see the last I wrote was when I went to Oregon to visit my family in April, I need to get with it and fix my computer, I am updating this from Rexburg, Idaho while visiting my sister Toni. We rode up with Eli and our friend Matt Allison they are going snowmobiling tomorrow to Cooke City, MT. Good luck boys. It is close to Yellowstone Natl Park but really high up 12000 feet so they still have snow. Will post photos is my camera survives the adventure. Well I will try to be brief on the updates especially since I dont really remember what happened in the last 2 months. I guess that is why I am suppose to write things down oh well guess it must be blond brain cells hard at work. Any way I had a doctors appt, this week and it looks like the middle of august, who knows the first week of july is when i schedule it date I put it off who wants to dwell on a c-section anyway. So I am also not measuring as large as I should so she wants me to get another ultrasounds, which is juen 16th, ashton measured 6 centimeters small, so it didnt bother me, until she said you are small but you gained weight, I almost said so do you think my butt looks bigger since the belly stayed the same, but i refrained I learned with Ashton to not say everything i think or the dr. looks at as if you are crazy.

Well, what else has happened, not tons, since gas is high and the weather has been not the best, we mainly watch tv at night which consists of the office, er, deal or no deal, house, but those are over so we have resorted to the discovery channel, travel, history watching the axe men, ice hwy., the crab fishing, you know the important things once all the local and nightly news is over, Eli loves brian williams and the others, So i feel like i am on a first name basis with brian, and he does wear some pretty nice ties. Thanks goodness the democratic party debates are over and rallying, we got to see that and eli is pretty fast a flipping channels from abc, to nbc, to cbs, to fox, to cnn, msnbc, and any other channel that posted anything.

Oh, I had a friend over the other day and ashton was in my room playing with toys and he comes out with a shirt and diaper and his diaper is to his knees, and he is doing the shuffle walk, saying I poop, it stuck, oh thanks so it is stuck on his but and luckily it stuck to the diaper so they was no trail behind him of what crime he just commited, He poops then walks to the toilet and dumps it in, not always making it or leaving some in the tub, thanks. But exciting news he has pooped in the toilet for the last couple of days, sure it may be a few pebbles but those are a few pebbles I dont have to wipe off his butt. Oh, we attended Elis grandparents 60th wedding party, which is a great accomplishment now days to live and stay married that long. Other than that I cant really remember much. We did go to the childrens museum downtown in SLC, but Ashton hates to leave and runs around like an out of control child so after 1 1/2 hours we left. I left with a screaming child oh well that is life.
