The big day arrived. Toni drove up to Logan Utah friday to spend the night with Monica her nursing friend. They were running the marathon together. I dont know what the foot shot is for, toni forgot her camera and borrowed mine.
This is the before photo. They had to get early around 5 something to catch a bus to take them up Blacksmith Fork Canyon. They run down the canyon then head north to Logan and end up in the park that is in the island.
The after picture, after running 26.2 miles. Toni's time 3 hours 56 minutes. She wore a microchip on her shoes that kept track of the time. She out ran a doctor she works with which was her goal. To qualify for the Boston marathon you had to run it in 3 hours 40 minutes. So she did well. We are glad that you are alive. After running she came back to my place. She had to give her friend an i.v. because she was not doing well dehydration. Toni said she does not want to do a full marathon any more we shall she. She has signed up to run the watsch back next year, rely where it lasts a day and a half you run 5 -5 mile relys, nashville 1/2, and teton dam 1/2 I think I can not remember if that was included in next years list of runs. Congts toni.
